    Correct throwout bearing

This is my 1st try at submitting a new thread since becoming a new member of NCRS I am just completing a new numbers matching 375 327" engine for my '65. I am using the GM aluminum bellhousing with a 10 1/2 GM clutch assy and a DougNash 5 speed tranny. I am not sure which GM throwout bearing I should use. I am installing the engine & tranny as a package so it is important I get it right the first time so I don't have to remove them again to change bearings. Any help if appreciated. Thanks

    Doug -

Corvettes with factory bent-finger diaphragm clutches used a 1-1/4"-long throwout bearing (not the 1-7/8" bearing used on passenger cars with flat-finger clutches).

Thanks for your speedy reply John. This forum is indeed awesome, I do have both new bearings just to be ready, now I can get to the job at hand, Doug.
