    57 WCFB correct casting numbers??

Hi All, I am trying to make a top flite car built Dec 12 1957 and was recently sold, "correct" carbs for my 283/245 engine. Looking at the casting numbers and refering to the "Corvette by the Numbers" book leaves me confused.

The carb with the choke assembly has 6-1299 for the top and 0-1049 for the body, if I read the book correctly these numbers are "not confirmed or possible"

The other carb has a 6-1203 top and 0-049 body, similar book references.

I don't want to give a judge any reason to question the carbs. Anyone out there with definitive answers or suggestions?

    Thanks
    Ken

Ken, attached is the carb section that will be included in the 56-7 Revised 5th Edition JM. The carb info for the JM revision was developed by Gary Hodges. Go to this link to see the file as it was posted previously in another thread. Gary....
