1964 Seat frame rail Removal

I am working on a pair of 1964 seats, the bolt holes on the front of the
rails has been cut out on the inside. they also have some pitting that needs to be fixed. it appears that the factory pressed on the catch that locks the rail in position.
What is the best way to disassemble the rail?
the recent Restorer Magazine has an article about a 1966. but mine does not have the slot at the top back for the catch to swing out of the way.

I'm not sure what pressed-on catch you're talking about. I thought all 63-66 seat frames and tracks were the same basic design. No? To remove the tracks (or rails? that bolt to the floor) from the seat bottom frame tube, you have to remove the small white bushings that are part of the seat adjuster handle mechanism and then the rotating part near the center of the frame with "over center" and the wing parts that interdigitate with the seat frame will swing up out of the way and then the tracks can be slid out the back once the two rear corner L brackets are removed. At least this is how it works on the '66 frames I'm currently restoring.
