Mine came about five days quicker than usual. Hopefully others will see improved results.
Thanks Dick for the explanation, I'm glad it seems to have improved the delivery for the majority of the members. Probably, and I'm just guessing, since Illinois is right next to Missouri the delivery for Illinois and other surrounding states didn't change right? Or do you know if they were trucked to another location here in Illinois also? Has anyone in Illinois received theirs yet? Oh by the way the mail just came and it wasn't there.

      Re: Driveline

Driveline this issue was sent by itself as 3rd class mail. When bundled with the Restorer it's sent periodical class mail. This issue and previous was sent from the printer to the USPS bulk mail distribution in Kansas City. From there it goes through the USPS distribution system to our local post offices. The new co-mailer vendor that Dick referred to bundles millions of pieces together and trucks them with their trucks to the closest main post office to the destination. At that point it's dropped into the USPS delivery system. The co-mailer vendor tells us they expect to improve NCRS publication delivery time. Hopefully, NCRS will see improvement with the co-mailer service. Best, Gary....

        Shooter,
I think it is a mistake to regard the whole of the state of Illinois in the same light. I failed to note when this issue arrived, but I believe I have had it for at least a week. My issue seems to have arrived remarkably quickly this time, but then I may just be "feeling good."

Having not received the last 2 mailings, I thought it was an old issue that arrived 2 days ago in Beverly Hills, Mi (Detroit suburb). Wow, whatever was done, it sure worked for me!!!

Terry, Whereabouts in Illinois are you located? I think you're the first from Illinois to post that they have received theirs so congratulations!! If you've had yours for about a week I'd think the USPS could get the rest of Illinois delivered in that time.

Joe, my bad that it's delayed. Sorry about that. Thought I had uploaded before I left on a road trip, but evidentally I goofed it up as John couldn't find it to activate. Driveline on-line will be uploaded and available next Tuesday (5/19) evening after I get back home. Gary....

Any idea when it will be on-line? Maybe the 10 day "waiting" period should be cut down to say 5 days now seeing as it seems to be arriving much sooner. Just a thought.

Do you know if there are any thoughts on reducing the wait period before putting it on-line? It would seem that the Driveline is pretty much all over the US and parts of Canada by now...except for my place.

May 17th and no Driveline in SW corner of PA. Course I ain't losing any sleep over it as I don't need any more parts. Need labor-not parts. JD

I live 18 miles south of the main post office in St. Louis and I still don't have mine. Could it be that the USPS has a MAJOR problem in their hub there (Like the employees don't do their job or just don't care)?
