    Wheel Center Caps and Lugnuts

On a 1992 ZR1 Corvette wheel, is the Corvette logo on the center hub molded flush with the surface, or is it raised, like the reproductions.
Please describe the lugnuts. Are they the same as 1985, only using silver plastic caps instead of black, or are they chrome plated?
    Thanks in advance.

The '92 LT1 center caps (guaranteed original) are raised.
The '92 LT1 lug nut caps are silver, not chrome.

      Thanks Bill.
The wheels are silver powder coated, aren't they? So that's why the silver lugnuts.
I bought a set of chrome ZR1 replicas, so chrome lugs would be a better match.
I need to buy a set of Corvette logos, to attach to my unmarked chrome center caps. How do these look to you:

1992 wheels, both LT1 and ZR1, were PAINTED and not powder coated.

        Lug nut covers were silver

Photos of an NOS 1992 wheel cap are attached.

They look just like the originals to me. Size is within 1/16 of the originals.

(I suppose you'll lose more judging points for the chrome than for the size issue...)

          The chrome wheels look great!

They're shod with a set of 275/40-ZR17 Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3's. All 4 rims are 9 1/2" wide, with 38mm offsets, specially made to fit on early C4's.
My '85 will wear them, for the Road Tour to Collie-fornia. I figure it's about time to semi-retire the original wheels and tires, which have seen 45K miles.
