Extra vacuum line found on my 70'

Hello,

Among ather things I'm trying to figure out on my car,
I found this narrow vacuum line coming up and out along the firewall.
I cannot be sure where it's from as it goes into a deluge of other hoses,
beneath the windshield washer pump? It emerges to the left of the vacuum
relay mounted on the firewall on the drivers' side.

I can't seem to determine what it was connected to.
Maybe the metal outlet coming off of the backside of my
replacement (correct style) (California) carburetor which in
the process of getting changed out.

I attached a photo, only it's hard to distinguish.

You mean the one upper left to mid right?
That's your driver's side washer fluid line. But I doubt that's what you mean since other pics of your car make it obvious.

I believe the ones "distant" in the pic are having to do with your heater controls.
