Re: 67 Colors
I mention saving you money,.... as Bill mentioned, Al Grenning advertises his services, as a vendor in The Driveline. As far as direct contacts thru the TDB, I am at 18 months and still waiting on a short answer from Al to a brief question I sent to him regarding available paint/interior combinations. I would recommend not wasting your time on that effort.
Perhaps you can catch Al at one of his for-hire seminars, or book signings. Other members have indicated he will help those in attendence at his presentations. Good luck in your quest for that interesting information. Please update us if you find any good info.

Re: 67 Colors
Thanks Ridge: I had a brain freeze a few months ago and decided to sell my Top Flight 56. I had not driven the car since I did the body off. Dumb move. I immediately had sellers remorse, but it was too late. Funny how a person can see things clearly after the fact (20/20). Anyway, I started a search for another car and have found a few cars to look at, but can't seem to pull the trigger. I've been mainly looking for another 56-57 or 65-67 Convertable. I prefer the 56-57, but I found this 67 conv., Maroon/White and I realized I haven't seen many with that color combo. That's why I ask. Interesting combo. He's had the car since '73 with 36,000 miles but it'a powerglide and I really want a 4 speed in a midyear. I'm afraid that after I buy something (midyear) it's going to be another 20/20 deal and I should have stayed with the 56-57. I've been looking for about 3 months and it's getting harder each day not to buy a car. The year's almost half over!- Top

Re: 67 Colors
Jerry, alot of the "numbers" published originated as extrapolations of the sample size of known cars at the time, and likely all were not original cars. Chevy did not keep alot of data, probably alot less data than we have today.I always wonder every time I see a 1 of 1 car for sale---How do they really know?
