I was working on the gauges of my '72/350 -- preparing for this year's first show -- when I noticed that the oil pressure line had a small leak. I purchased a new line and I am not sure how to route it through the firewall -- the firewall grommet holes appear to be much too small to accommodate the line's coupler. Any suggestions for properly routing the line through the firewall? As always, thanks for all of your help.

Re: Help: Need to route oil line through firewall
Hi Stan,
I was able to slide the collet off the line so I could get the coupler fitting off. Then I could slip the line through the hole in the grommet and put the fitting and collet back on the line.
Getting to the rear of the gauge is VERY PLEASANT, isn't it!
