C2 engine with automatic transmission

getting ready to install engine and automatic trans back into
1965 300hp with automatic
any suggestion on which to put in first .
would you put trans in first or put engine in first
took engine and trans out in 1982 and cant remember. I think it
is about time to reassemble it.

I'd put them in together as a unit, but that's just me. That way you can bolt them together outside the car.

When I rebuilt the engine and PG trans in my '63 roadster, I took'em out together and put'em back in together. It's just too easy. I wouldn't do it any other way.

I didnt know if i had enough room to put them
in together. prefer to do it that way
