Can anyone refresh my memory on how to tell the difference between a repro 67 owners manual from a real one? I can not for the life of me remember the differences? Thanks

Thanks Bill. Appreciate it. Gorgeous car by the way. I think I have seen it before at Kissimmee. Gorgeous. I picked up another owners manual for cheap, and it was in such unbelieveable shape I questioned if it was a repro. I only paid 30 bucks for it so it was worth the chance. It does have the full card in it, so it's the real deal. Thanks again. ARA- Top

The presence of a "full" or 1/2 stub does not mean it is a real manual. As a matter of fact most original manuals have only a 1/2 card. 67 is a year where there are an awful lot of re-issue manuals with full cards for some reason. In most cases if the condition is pristine then it is a Helm Inc. re-issue. Very few originals survived without showing at least minor wear. Compare the photography side by side between an original and a re-issue and you will be able to answer your own question easily.- Top

Yours is an obvious reproduction. The Helm re-issues are not really reproductions as Helm was the OEM supplier. Thats why I call them re-issues. Much like the NOS confusion with parts.- Top
