    2000 Power Windows

My 2000 power windows work intermittently - the pass. is better than the driver's. It seems like a loose connection but I do not know wherer to start.

Darold, Our 2000 was rewired by the dealer at 50,000 miles. Resoldered both doors inside. Recently the power door locks are intermittent. Bet you 1957 does not have these problems, Progress, you say. Looking forward to seeing you in July at the Nats.

Door lock modules seem to be the guilty culprit most times for me on the C5 power lock issues.

        Re: 2000 Power Windows

There is a very good article in the Corvette Forum that addresses power door locks and windows in the C5 Technical Forum. I believe under FAQ.

if the wring is good going thru the door post and the door they say that the commutators in the motors get glazed up and cause this problem. they say you should run your windows up and down every time you drive the car to help prevent this
