    67 Restoration

The car that is being restored is a 67 427/390 with A/C. I have two questions.
    1. Clamp that connects the heater hose to the water shut off on the bottom heater core outlet. What type of clamp is used?
2.On the left inner fender there is a 19/64s hole just below the capacator on the voltage regulator. Is this supposted to be there?
    Thanks,
    Mike

    Mike,

the hole you mention under the voltage regulatot should be one of the 2 holes for the wireing harness strap.

      Mike,
To your first question, as far as I know corbin clamps were used on the heater hoses. ( Even on the short piece between the heater core and the heater valve.) Hope this helps.

        Marco -

Correct, except for the 3/4" return hose at the water pump fitting - A/C cars (only) used a side-screw clamp there, similar to the ones used on the short hose between the expansion tank outlet and the tee in the 3/4" hose.

I believe also, they are Corbin clamps.

            John,
Thank you for your input. I wasn't aware of that fact. I like learning something new everyday.
Is it also correct to say that the mentioned fitting on the WP on A/C cars is of the short variety?
