      I would suggest that you purchase a 1968-'68 Technical Information Manual and Judging Guide from our sponsor. They are available for order on this web site. To answer your question, quoting the judging manual, they are grey phosphate

          I have a judging guide I guess I brain locked and didnt see it. I have gotten so used to finding info in the archives I take for granted that I can find anything there. Thank you for your assistance.

              Here is a set that I restored. They were rusted and in ugly shape. Zinc Phosphated and some Black out used to darken the color.
