Location of window in upper track

I am about to install side window on upper track (66 covert). What is the measurement from edge of window to start of front or rear of of track. Once I put window into track it will not be easy to move , so I want to do it right the first time. See attached picture. Is it centered or x distance from edge.

    Thanks

They are fairly even frt to rear from what I remember. It is not real critical because it floats on the rollers at the end of the regulator arms. Why not just set the window in the channel with small strips of the gasket material holding the window in and do a test fit to be sure?

Thanks for advice. I looked very closely at original glass marking left from old grip strip and did a trail fit. It seems that setting the track about 1/4 inch from edge of the glass (front) works best for my car.

Installed glass, vent window and all stops and it works great. That side window has been falling out of the track for about 15 years, great to have it stay in.
