    Trim shop joy ride

    Becareful who you let work on your Vette. I had over $200k in this one. Owners son took the car on a cruise!

          That's pretty sad. Sounds like you need to find a new shop or start doing the work yourself.

            Ronald when I first read your post and saw joy ride and the 200K figure, my thought was your newest ride the much desired 2009 ZR1 was taken for a joy ride.
            Curious, what punishment and cost will the joy rider receive?
            Hope the shop that dropped you 57 has insurance. One thing to drive them and get damage by another driver, but to fall off a lift I wonder what happened.

              I have been using this guy for 20 years, he was doing some reetro door pannels! He is going to give me his life savings

                Neither shops have insurance, the 57 is on me, about $50k to fix. The 62 I think the guy is going to pay aroun $125K to repair or $200k+ and own it. I am still jugling numbers. The Engine tranny and all the electronic stuff is ok. The front clip is repairable. I will need a doors back piece and a new SArt Morrison frame with all the roller stuff.
