Does anyone know of a source for midyear window regulator springs?? I've checked four of the usual sources and none of them advertise this spring.

For midyear parts I would try Dr. Rebuild in Bridgeport Connecticut.
He got his start wehn he couldn't find parts for a mid-year he was restoring many many years ago.
He has many of the parts that others do not have and his stuff is in stock, not just a pretty picture in a catalog that turns out to be a "back order".
He has his stuff in his warehouse in Bridgeport; I know because I am impatient and drive there from Massachusetts to pick up parts for my 68 so I don't have to wait for the brown truck.
He does ship very quick so you will usually get it in 2 days.

Thanks, Kurt. One would think that regulator springs would be something that most large sources would have, so was surprised when several did not. I'm rebuilding my '64 coupe doors and the springs look a little rusty.

I may have solved my problem. I wasn't able to tell if Dr. Rebuild has the springs or not from the on-line catalog - a phone call would probably be better. However.... if that doesn't work, there's a possibility that regulator springs for tri-5 Chevys will work. I've compared the two in pictures and they may be very similar since the window sizes are also similar. Here's a link:

Another mid year vendor is Long Island Corvette.
I've had good luck with them.

Eckler's does have a coil spring for '68 and up vettes and it looks similar to those on midyears.
