I am thinking about buying a 67 convertible that previously got a 3 star NCRS award. If I bought it, could I have it judged again for originality/Star award? I know if won't 5 Star as it's been repainted, but could I get it judged again? Not sure. ANy help would be appreciated. Thanks ARA

Nope. It's a one-time deal for the life of the car.Vice-Chairman (West), Michigan Chapter NCRS

Re: Can you 3 Star again?
That is absolutely correct. There's no way that you can make the car more 4-star correct, because that judging standard is the parts that were on the car as it left the factory, with the fit and finish of the parts as they left the factory. You can't make it more factory original.
That is as distinguished from flight judging, where you can make the car more factory-correct.- Top
