I have a finished prototype of the Fortier 1st Design tip (no welded seam on bottom) that Richard sent me and Pat Moresi might have another. I showed it at a Corvette event recently in Fort Worth and it got thumbs up. In my opinion it is as close to original as it can get as Richard poured a lot of attention into details. I'm taking it to the Texas NCRS Regional meet in Killeen in October along with one original 1st Design and one original 2nd Design tips as comparisons. He recently told me in an email that he is considering manufacturing the 1968-1969 tips.
