Re: Rod journal size re oil requirements
I must have the sportsman then. i have provision for an oil filter. i'm using an adaptor to rout lines in and out of the block to the filter and cooler. So did i create an oiling problem using this block and roller cam bearings?- Top

Re: Rod journal size re oil requirements
that i do not know as i have never seen one converted to needle bearings. your engine builder should know this. i just think you did not have enough oil in the system with the pan you used. the sportsman block should have a opening in the front directly into the main oil gallery where you can plumb in the accusump to directly feed the main oil gallery- Top

Re: Rod journal size re oil requirements
It does have the fitting in the front. The part number on my block is 10051184 there is a GM logo. The part number is located at the rear on the drivers side. Do you know anyone in racing who would know if the needle bearing are an oiling problem for this block. i'd like to call and talk with someone about this.- Top
