    '72 - a/c compressor CODE NO.

Many of the supply houses sell the Frigidaire a/c decal, but without a code number. I assume the code number is a date code.

I have three questions: 1) What is the code? 2) If in a date related format, what is the format, and 3) Who can I get to place the code on the decal with the right font and size?

    Thanks
    Jerry

I can not remember without looking at one, but the code is given in the 1970-72 TIM&JG.

      Jerry,

There was a guy at the 2008 Waco Regional getting his car judged.
He had a 1970 Bronze 454 car. It was a Top FLight car if I remember correctly.

He was able to recreate the font on the label and it was damn good.

Stan saw it and had positive comments on it.
Maybe you can contact someone from Waco and they can get you the contact info.

If would not mind, could you pass the "how to" info along, I have to do my label. The real one flew off the car a long time ago and I want to put one back on that is very close.

You could look in the Restorer and see what 70 received a Top Flight at the event. That'd likely be quicker.

My copy of the Restorer shows that only one 70 was judged.

I would check to see if he is listed on this site then check the white pages online he won't be hard to find because everybodys informtaion is all over on the web if you look for it like it or not. It"s their down to an areial picture of your house and where you store your cars.
