Dr. rebuilds? They claim they have GM hoses not fake stamped ones like paragon?

The ones I bought from paragon are awful they're smudged so bad you can't tell what numbers are printed on them.

So, are Dr. rebuilds GM ones actually GM hoses and printed better than paragons?

thought I'd ask before I order from them because my upper on is 39 from them instead of 27 from paragon.

I'm pretty sure they are not real hose made for GM 25-30 years ago.

He has a license to restamp the markings on the hose, just like Paragon and the other Vette stores. It really depends on who is doing the stamping as to how nice they look when they are done.

I personally have purchased LOTS of parts from Doc and was never unhappy at all. He really does a nice job and his parts always fit and look good.

Brandon, IMHO, regarding Paragon, I would check with the folks there if you are not happy with an item. I've been a customer of theirs (original owner and new owners) for well over twenty years and hundreds of part purchases, they are very easy to deal with and they stand behind what they sell.

Did you call Paragon and explain the quality of hoses they sent you? The pictures attached are both hoses on my 74 L-48 from Paragon. All markings were smudge free.

the lady at dr. rebuilds now said she didn't mean they're are from GM she meant they stamp theirs too but do a better job than paragon.

not what she told me earlier but I didn't think it made since they have originals..I mean I wouldn't by a 30 something year old hose...o well I ordered from them and will see if paragon will give me a return on the lower and the bypass one.

I bought my hoses for my 68 restoration from Dc. Rebuild and they look great. I am very please with them and would buy again.

Dr Rebuild's radiator, heater and vacuum hoses are all perfect reproductions.

So did Richie from LI. Said a few syllables this past winter and now nothing.
Answer is you can't make $$$ when you waste a lot of time on the forums. (like I do)

I needed a non-standard length vacuum hose recently, and Doc Rebuild was very accommodating. He checked his inventory, cut the hose to my requested length, didn't overcharge and had it to me in three days. I was impressed.

Gary, You would think someone in the Corvette business would want to be an NCRS member. JD here will celebrate 30 long years shortly. Whew!!
I remember Norm Neffield coming into my restaurant around Dec 79 and said to me. JD I just joined a Corvette club you might be interested in. I said really. What's the name of the club? He said NCRS. I said never heard of it. But bring me in an application and I'll join as I had two 63 coupes at the time.
