    Interior restoration

I'm restoring the interior of my 67 convert. Who supplies the most authentic reproduction door panels, leather seats, carpet and top?
    Thanks, Bob

Al Knoch will get the biggest vote here.

Do some searching on convertible tops, and also "Kennedy pattern". There has been a lot of discussion on that lately.

To get maximum points in judging, I ordered the "correct" thinner windlace (front piece of top vinyl that touches the windshield frame) and instructed my shop to tuck it under. I also instructed them to cut the rear piece of trim that goes along the top surface to about 5". This is the piece that ends with a metal "arrowhead".

Otherwise, I ordered standard carpet from Al Knoch, along with carpeted kick panels. You'll get a minimal deduction at Regionals and Nationals for replacement carpet because of the lack of "corn rows" that the carpet shows, but if you need new carpet there isn't anything else you can do.

          Hi Bob
You might consider asking for a carpet sample from ACC in Birmingham, AL for comparison to the other vendors.
