    c2- oil pan

    whats correct for a 1965 327/300hp auto,ps
    Some say 4 quarts some say 5 quarts
    will 5 quart pan hit anything under it= ps piston or slave cylinder

    Use the correct 4 quart pan. The 5 quart (solid lifter) pan has a longer sump that extends further forward and will interfeer with the Power Steering. The original 4 quart pan is just fine for your engine and was the same pan used for the L79, 350 HP Hydraulic Cam Engine in '65 and worked just fine.
