    ZR 1 Convertible

Found this on a local site, what do you think?

Apparently the owner bought two cars one ZR1 and standard convertible then proceeded to transfer the convertible parts onto the the ZR1.

As another has said in 15 years this car will on the judging floor as a one off factory convertible.

Havent seen the car in person, but it looks well done. Wonder which serial number is still on the car, the convertible, or the ZR1 ???

I would like to see this one in person.

                Kevin,
Would you possibly have it backwards and that he took the ZR1 parts and put them on the convertible? It would seem easier than hacking a ZR1 into a convertible.

Rick I think your idea makes more sense and the coupe body could be put back togather and sold. Ed

I don't agree. The owner isn't poor and as we know money talks. His car stand out in a crowd and looks dead nuts original. Maybe the General will see this car and realize they can pop out a convertible just as easy as a fast back or coupe.
And one more thing. If that's the owner standing in front waving his hands he has a better chance of getting in and out of the yellow convertible than a coupe.
Now watch and see how many copy him. Not me though as couldn't afford the spare tire.

if you are just looking for the power it would be a lot cheaper to have KATECH build you a 500 cu in engine for your vert

The new GM should build the Convertible ZR1,. Put it out there and put a price on it, it will sell, not to many ,but some is better then none
