C-1 Motor Mount

Can someone explain the differences in motor mounts from 55 to 60? The mount between the block and water pump. Thanks in advance.

i think the early ones don't have clearance to change the front soft plug in the block, the later ones do

The 55-58 mount is not cut out for the front soft plug. Not sure when the change was made, but later ones (59-60) are cut out for access to the right front soft plug. Wayne
