    Trunk Drain Hose 1961

    There are two drain hoses down-spout hose connections in the rear V-channel of the 1961. One of the tubes is missing on my project 1961. I would like to make one, could someone please tell me what material the tubes are made of?

      the wall thickness of originals is much thinner than the walls of readily available fuel or vac. hoses stocked by NAPA etc. did you try Dr Rebuild? he has unique hoses. good luck and let us know if you find a source. mike

          I have the original hoses, the information I am in need of is the male tube that is attached to the body and the hoses connect to. It looks to be attached to the body using bonding adhesive.

              Funny how those drain hoses look exactly like the thin walled FI nozzle block hoses.

              Made from darkgray/black fiberglass tubes it seems.
