Sounds like a re-bleed is in order; those are symptoms of air in the lines.

I am curious- did you pressure or vacuum bleed? I'm doing brake work on two C3's. The vacuum bleed method is not giving me good results. I'm going to connect my pressure bleeder- I never had anthing but good results with that. Good luck!

At first I vacuum bleed the brakes with a little hand pump. But since I was not satisfied I then pressure bleed them with someone in the driver seat.

PS - I pressure bleed the brakes last night, took out the car this morning and a world of difference.
