I just bought some yesterday at CARQUEST, $13.59 a gallon.

List price......$18.21 a gallon.

The only place Iwas able to find Zerex G-05 by me was at a Car Quest.

Yes it is the same. My reference is the Zerex G-05 website, where they state that Motorcraft Gold and Zerex G-05 can be used interchangeably.

However, you should be able to locate the Zerex G-05 locally. NAPA sells it or can get, and the price would probably be lower than through FORD.

Prestone Yellow-Green antifreeze would also be good. It is similar to G-05, but is slightly different formulation. Both are HOAT type antifreezes. But I would not recommend mixing them in your Corvette, unless an emergency.

It shouldn't be hard to find. Napa, Baxter, Schucks, O'Reily all carry it.

I bought 2 gallons from my local NAPA store. It was not on the shelf. They ordered case and I had it the next morning.

I recently purchased G-05 from National Auto at $10.99/gal. Unfortunately, in my area they only carry the 50/50 pre-mix, so I paid through the nose for shipping a lot of water to the store (but I needed it pronto for an engine break-in and didn't have the luxury of time to order the concentrate).
