Re: Window sticker glue
John, what a memory jog. I recall the bottle with the dauber that was split, you pushed it down upside down and out came this clear glue. Can't remember the name though. Seems to me it started with an L. Do you recall? Man that goes back to the late 40's early 50's. L O N G time ago. Bill.- Top

Re: Window sticker glue
Paul, go to a crafts store and purchase a small rattle can of spray adhesive. It's the kind used by elementary school kids to create holiday crafts. It will hold the paper to the window, yet not cement it on.

Re: Window sticker glue
Yeah, but the white paste was the real yummy stuff! I remember my grandmother using the pink angled tip with the golden glue to stick envelopes and stamps. I don't know if it is still available. I haven't seen it, nor have I really tried to look for it.NCRS New England Chapter Chairman 2022, 2024

Re: Window sticker glue
Just thinking......those really were the good old days, when you could eat the glue. Wouldn't dream of eating any of that toxic stuff that's put out nowadays.
Be sure and try out any glue you do get with a scrap on a piece of glass before you adhere the sticker....some of those adhesives lie and tell you they aren't cement, but it will take a razor to get them off. Unless that's what you had in mind.
