    Carlisle.

I spent Thursday and Friday at Carlisle and had a great time.
I went there not needing anything but going to see some old friends and acquaintences, which I did.
But I did find some good deals on some parts which I bought. I couldn't resist.
The prices were stupid high as usual but you could bargin for a good deal.
The crowds seem lower then the past but I an not sure.

    What do other people think???

      Re: Carlisle.

I cancelled my overnight reservations for Friday at the show because of the rain but I did decide to take a chance and drive out on Saturday to see what was happening. Got there about 10 a.m. and the weather was overcast and cool. It started to rain later in the morning for a good half hour or maybe an hour but then it cleared up and was sunny and warm until I left later in the afternoon. The grounds dried off pretty quickly and I had a great time-I'm glad I decided to take a chance and go!

Had a great time too. However, was still amazed at what some of these vendors think their parts are worth. Witnessed a vendor ask $5,000 for an original KH KO wheel with alleged "original" Good Year goldline tire. I have seen mint condition single KO rims for $1,500-2,000. I have seen original tires for anywhere from $125-400 each. He claimed it was a piece of history. I suspect he will have that wheel until he realizes it is a part; the cars are the history.

I asked the price of a pretty rough looking KO and the seller quoted me $1800!
