Aaaah,
After a very long, arduous restoration I was finally able to test fire the engine.
There's a lot of Blood, sweat and more Blood when you restore these pigs, but some times (on a few rare occasions) things sometimes go as planned.
She fired right up with just a little pumping of the Gas. The choke worked as set, then she started to overheat slightly. Shut her down and add the last Gallon and a half of coolant, and refire her.
Temp is good (cool actually) She purrs with a nice throaty rumble from the side pipes with instant throttle response rapping up like she wants to go.
And best of all, not a single drip from any of the Tower clamps.
I won't mention all of the headaches before this point, I'm just going to relax and enjoy something that finally went right.
