Small and Big Block Flywheel Casting Numbers

    Hey guys,

Does anybody out there know a good source I can find a list of the casting numbers for C2 big and small block flywheels? I've got some of these in my stock and I'm trying to ID them now. Especially the big block ones. Gonna build the '66's 427 soon.

Any help here would be greatly appreciated.
    Take care,
    Mike '65, '66

    Mike,

Two sources where I found some casting #'s for some flywheels. First the P&A 30B Parts and Accessories Catalogue (Chevrolet Corvette parts book). Second, the HOW TO HOT ROD BIG BLOCK CHEVYS by Bill Fisher and Bob Waar.

Thanks Warren. I'll purchase those books.

just goggle the casting numbers on the fly wheels you have and see what pops up.

Hey Clem. I searched the forum and had some success. You're right. I got tons of hits for these 456N flywheels via Google. Numerous applications. Camaro and Chevelles in the early to mid 70s etc..

          Thanks,
          Mike
