53-57 speedo lens

Any one installed the repro speedo lens and realize it glows at night that the original one dosen't.

Yep.
At an event many years ago, I bought a complete set of lenses for the 56.
I installed ALL except the Battery and Oil lenses and clock lens. The numbers in the speedo lens glow. And over the years, all the repo lenses have slightly yellowed, whereas the Bat-Oil-clock lenses are still clear!

And on my 55 many wonder why I proffered using original parts that may not be perfect or pretty as repro's .Just knowing I have original parts then repro's makes me feel good, tho I also know others may not have a choice in the matter at this time but finding original part is the fun part (treasure hunting) to me !and glade my hunting is over.
Now I just collect original parts to have on hand
