Looking for Shop Recommendation in Nor Cal

Hey all,

Can any members out there recommend a reputable repair shop they've had experience with in Northern California (I'm in the San Francisco Bay Area, Marin County)?

I don't want to bring my baby just anywhere for some repairs she is in need of. Specifically, I need to have a section of the frame repaired just in front of the rear driver's-side wheel, the turn signal canceling cam and lever, and a new exhaust system from the manifolds on back. I know these are very different types of repairs and that I may need a couple of different shops here.

Thanks for any advice you guys might be able to provide.

You should try Jack Hunt Auto in San Rafael. JHA has a front showroom with some collector cars for sale. But JHA has a complete garage and body shop behind the showroom. I had JHA do mechanical and body work for me in the past, and I am very happy with the results (1954 and 1959 Corvettes) Brad Hunt, Jack's brother, is the head mechanic and personally attended to both my 54 and 59. Jack oversees the body and paint shop, which did a really nice job fixing some problem areas in my 54. Nice guys too.

Thanks for the recommendation Russ. I'd certainly rest easier knowing my car's in good hands and not going to suffer the fate that some of the members here have posted horror stories about - original parts being lifted and replaced with repros, shoddy repair work, etc.
