Ken, you can have Bilstein rebuild your shocks for no more than $125 each.

Go to www.bilsteinus.com and click on 'services.'

    Good luck.

I had a 92 with 30K on the clock. It also had bistien shocks on it also. I have no experience with the other shocks but I recommend that you keep it stock.

I haven't looked yet but I wouldn't be surprised to find the original spark plugs in the car.
Floyd the owners manual for your and my LT4 says for both the Short Trip/City Maintenance Schedule and the Long Trip/Highway Maintenance Schedule to change the spark plugs at 100,000 miles and only inspect the spark plug wires at 100,000 miles.

You can get new Bilsteins from the usual catalog suspects for a reasonable price. This is just one example:

Their catalog says you can get a set of four for $279.00 US
            '69 Blue/Blue L36 Vert w/ 4-Spd
            '73 Blue/Blue L48 Coupe w/ 4-Spd
            '96 Red/Black LT-4 Convertible

Thanks to both Bruce and Floyd for the info. I will look into having them rebuilt and comparing that with purchasing from Ecklers or others for the best option. By the looks of it I am probably going save a little bit if I replace all four.

Again thanks for the help fellas.
