    Re: 1970 LT1 engine

    Joe Lucia posted a rarther complete parts list for the LT1 in a thread titled "70 Engine Parts Reference" . For some reason I can't locate it in the archives.The thread was posted by Jeph South. Joes answer was Monday April 30, 2001 at 7:59 pm. Maybe someone will have better luck searching.

    BTW I do have it printed but need to load to post it. Will do if you can't access the thread..

            I guess you guys didn't detect my humor ..... or maybe it was a poor attempt.... but I am still laughing, even if I laugh alone.

              I remember the post, but also cannot find it with search. I did store a paper copy and hopefully also a digital copy. I will attempt to find it once I get home from work today.

                  Terry, you have to remember this is Monday morning. I got your meaning.
                  I also could not find the post, so hopefully Joe Lucia see's this and posts again.

                    Ah, yes I know about Monday mornings, and before coffee too.

                    I see Dennis found the post, scanned it, and put it in as an image. Looks like a done deal.

                      Not sure why, but all I see are 3 boxes with red x's in them.

                          Send a private email through the board to Dennis (so he gets your email address) and ask him to send you the scans by reply email. Just right click on Dennis's name and you will get a drop-down box with one of the options being "send a private email."

                            All-----

                            Keep several things in mind now since I posted this information over 8 years ago:

                            1) The e-mail address shown for me in the post is no longer a valid one. That one "died" many years ago with the unfortunate demise of excite@home;

                            2) While all of the part numbers shown as original part numbers for the LT-1 are, obviously, still valid, whether those that were still available at that time remain available today or whether the supercessive part numbers shown in that post remain available today is another question.
