There is a very interesting graphic about historic Corvette small-block power output on CorvetteBlogger.Com. It shows the rated hp figures for all the generations/iterations of Chevrolet's small block Corvette engines.
However, I find a problem with the pre-1972 power ratings, which were SAE Gross, compared to the post-period SAE Net ratings. GM does state on the graph that the output is "advertised horsepower", so my complaint is not serious.
