Sanity check, WCFB usage

I am looking at some Carter data that indicates that 1961 2x4 carbs were:

1961 245hp 3181S Front 2627S Rear
1961 270hp 3182S Rear 2614S Rear

I think this is a misprint. The 3182S is the FRONT carb for a 270 hp engine, not the rear carb.

Am I correct? The 3182S is a front carb and the Carter data is a misprint.

Gary Hodges' WCFB chart shows the same thing, with the 3182S shown as the rear carb on a '61 270hp when it's actually a front carb; sounds like the Carter error was carried over into Gary's chart.
