This might be a good one. My NCRS Judging Manual shows turn signal lever for early 1970 Corvette should be gloss black plastic end with many grooves parallel to the stalk. However all parts catalogs show end as no grooves, grained pattern.Which is correct, what do I order? Thanks in advance.

Re: Signal lever 1970 Corvette
My suggestion would be to schedule a trip to Kissimme, Florida, in January -- it is a nice show and swap meet in usually lovely weather. Alternately Carlisle, PA, in the Spring or Fall -- you just missed this one a month or so ago.
There is a chance someone reproduces the lever you need and others may know of it -- I don't do so well at parts hunting. I prefer tech stuff.Terry- Top

Re: Signal lever 1970 Corvette
Jim - a couple of years ago I bought the grooved turn signal lever and teletilt lever from Corvette Central, I believe. They still show they sell the grooved teletilt lever:
I'd be surprised if they still sell this but not the grooved turn signal lever, so I'd call and ask. And even if they do only sell this, maybe you can buy it and put this cap on a seperate turn signal lever. Good luck- Top

Re: Signal lever 1970 Corvette
Pat and Jim, that lever you showed is for a t&t steering column. Jim's car is a standard column, they are different. I ran into the same problem with my 70 and called Trim Parts and I was told to send it back with my original and they would see what could be done. Within a week both levers came back with no charge. Hope this help- Top
