I have a working generator but the ID tag is missing....I can't varify if it is stock or not....What i'm looking for are pictures of an original generator...the connection posts and ground screw seem to be in the correct location from pictures found in Nolan Adams resto book but there is no clear picture of the rear brg end bell( housing )....i do have an oiler cap for the rear brg....can anyone provide a picture....or otherwise tell me how to varify it's identity....thanks Jerry

Which engine do you have? The 250 H.P. motor uses a 1102174 and all of the others 300, 340, and 360 H.P. use the 1102268. These generators are very different, I have both and would be glad to send pictures of the model you need. I'll need your e mail address as well. Rich

The 62 250 AND 300 hp used the 2174. The 340 and 360hp used the 2268.
