    Best place to get headlight motors rebuilt?

    I need to rebuild my headlight motors. Where is the best place to send them?

        You may want to try it yourself. The headlight motors are very easy to rebuild. The main drive gear is the typical item that gets worn out. You can turn it 180 degrees so it operates on fresh teeth, or just replace if necessary. Clean and apply fresh grease, and you should be good to go. The process has been outlined in the Restorer.

          Just an idea if you are handy you might want to do it yourself . Lots of good posts . I took them apart and back together with good results.

              Steve Hack must be good for Jimmy Gregg to recommend him - Because Jimmy taught me how to rebuild mine. And I have passed the favor on to a couple of friends. It is pretty easy and Don is right about turning the gear 180 degrees is the usual fix
