autocross

this weekend is the final autocross of the year. a new class has been added, that being pre 1974 Vintage autocross vehicles. there are about a dozen such cars(c-1, c-2, c-3 ,cobras as well as old european sports cars) that will run the 5th heat on saturday, oct 24th. the first four heats are run what ya brung. expect a full house both sat and sunday(100 casrs each day). after the 5th heat on saturday, a picnic with liquid refreshments will happen at our farm. the midatlantic chapter of the Solid Axle Corvette Club will be stoping by for the 5th heat and a tour of our cars sat afternoon. anybody in the area wishing to attend, the site of the autocross will be the Cumberland Airport(site of the SCCA Nationals from 1953 to 1971). or call me at 301 777 0089. mike mccagh

The White car? I have some prime realestate (swamp land) for anyone that believes that at a reasonable price.

Mike, please post lots of photos! I used to autocross my 100% stock '57 and 100% stock '77 (), at least in stock classes.

roy boy--can't believe you'd question the integrity of such an upstanding citizen. why, i actually destroke the 283 in the white 57 and am trying to get re-classified as G stock. praise the lord and grab a gear.mike
