Wanted: Tips on rewiring a 72

I've rewired 62's, 65's, and 67's--but haven't done any C-3's. Since I see no reason to reinvent the wheel, I'm looking for tips from anyone who has done this before. I have the AIM and the service manual for reference, and know that neither is all that accurate, but is usable.
Does anyone have under-dash pics? How about an article written somewhere? Anything that you learned when you plunged in by yourself?
Any and all ideas are welcomed!
BTW--72 454, 4spd, tilt/tele, stering and brakes, a/c coupe.

The 72 AIM does not have a wiring diagram like other years, at least my copy does not. AIM is not complete!

What type of rewiring are you talking about? Taking apart the entire harness and replacing brass terminals, bad wire breaks, rewraping, what?

Previous owner had a small electrical fire/short, so he completely wired it himself (he's an electrician). He used his own wire, his own fuse box, etc.
Much is not wired at all--everything else but the rear harness is redone and hidden in the spiral plastic looms. I'm putting in new correct harnesses, front to rear, and know that the GM documentation from 72 really shows 70 and 71.

I replaced the engine and AC harness on my 72. It was about as simple as it could be. Just plug it in and the wires basically fell into place.
