70 Exhaust Tips

I just received tips from Richard Fortier.

They are excellent! I have my originals to compare and they are right on.

He also did some cad plating and phosphating which is equally as nice.

Hi Bill,
I remember the pictures that Scott Sims(I believe) posted while Richard was developing the tips. They certainly did look good.
How much did they end up costing?
Also, what type of parts/hardware did he re-plate for you?

Hi Alan.

The parts he plated were the original hood latches and hardware including the spring cups. He also re-plated the connecting link hardware.

I wish now I had sent him my Z bar given how nice the cad plating turned out.

If you want to see the tips we could maybe get together up in Mt Airy. They are beautiful reproductions. Even the chrome looks just like my originals inside and out without the tail pipe welded to them

The tips cost $382.50 with the NCRS discount.

I WOULD like to get a peek at your car, perhaps we can get together.
Was that price ea. or pr.?
It's hard to believe just a week from now many of us will be sleeping off our turkey dinner! Where has this year gone?
