The repro clips do not fit well. Do you have any of the old clips left? I replaced my 66 clips with CC new clips very few of them worked. I ended up bending and cleaning up my old clips. They worked fine.

[I just posted this in your other Thread too]

      Hi Dennis,

I knew I was going to have to cross this bridge at some point myself, so when I came across information about it, I took notes. Someone on another forum asked a similar question about replacing a midyear windshield in March of 2008, and John Hinckley replied with the following:

"You'll need a new weatherstrip/seal (Corvette Rubber), and you'll probably find at least some of the molding retainer clips corroded/broken; get replacements from Paragon - theirs are the only ones that work. The clips can only be replaced when the windshield is out of the car." (JohnZ, post 2, 03-08-08)

      Hope this helps,

      Scott

When I ordered clips from Paragon, there were two types available: cheap common and a nice little clip that even had a gasket. We put my windshield in at a Nuts & Bolts and every one of these clips worked with out a hitch. I think Paragon is the only one that carries them.

          Hi Peter,

Which clips did you use? Paragon has several, and list them several different ways, individually, as kits, imported, USA, etc. Sometimes the 11 piece kit is labeled for convertible, sometimes not.

For the coupe, the "imported" kit appears to be 24 clips (all the same), while the USA-made kit has only 23 clips, but also two corner clips. I don't see any that mention "gaskets":

          WINDSHIELD REVEAL RETAINER KIT
          Paragon Number: 11044K-25
          GM Part Number: 3843939
Windshield reveal molding retainer kit, coupe. Includes (23) 11044K clips & (2) 1150 corner clips. USA made.
          Years: 1964 - 1967
          Condition: New
          Packaging: Kit
          Type: Stock

          Rear Window
I found these for the rear window moulding clips:

Rear window reveal molding retainer, coupe 24 rqrd. 24 pcs.
          Paragon Number: 1621K-24
          GM Part Number:
          Years 1964 - 1967
          Type: Stock
