    peformance spark plug wires

    Looking for some high performance plug wires for my 427, also what size wires should I be concerned with? I am running with 425 hp. Mv. car is modified so I want to get away from the metal plug shields. thanks for any suggestions! Dutch

      You say you want to get away from metal plug shields wires. Do you mean the stainless braiding? I was told by an electrical engineer that the stainless sleeve reduces the spark to the plugs. But I never could verify that. I was just wondering if that was your concern.

          Gene, I never heard that one, what I was refering too was the metal shield that is bolted to the block Does anyone know the size of the silver braided plug wire used on the Big Block? I cannot find that information. I am looking for a high performance plg wire.DUTCH

              check out a moroso catalog as they sell very good performance plug wire that also cuts down on RFI
