I found two sets of valve covers in the shed one I think is from a Vette. The one set of valve covers have the Corvette script with NO mould inperfection through the O in Corvette and the bolt pattern is staggered. The other set is an aluminum set without the Corvette script and also has the staggered bolt pattern. Can anyone tell me about what year/years and what these valve covers could be worth. Being a member of the NCRS (National Can't Remember Sh!!) Society, I don't have any idea where or when I got these. Thanks to anyone who can help. MikeD

Mike------
The "staggered" bolt pattern valve covers were used for 1955-1959 small blocks. I believe those with Corvette script were used for all but base engine Corvette. No aluminum covers were used for 1955 applications. The 1956 applications used a "9 fin" aluminum cover. These are more valuable. 1957-59 used a "7 fin" cover.
1960-67 Corvettes with SHP engines used a "non-staggered" bolt cover, otherwise pretty much identical to the above-referenced "7 fin" covers. In Appreciation of John Hinckley- Top

Re: Staggered bolt pattern
Those are for early '58 to mid '59. Condition determines price. The Driveline has NOS ones for about $250.- Top
