Today with beautiful weather here in NYC I decided to go for a spin in the 67 small block. It usually starts right up with no problems....today I turn the key and the engine cranked but wouldn't start.
Took the air cleaner off and was able to see there was no gas when I cranked the throttle. There was gas in the tank and the fuel pump is relatively new and there was no gas puddle under the car so I figured it must be something else. So I gave the carb bowl a slight tap with a hammer and sure enough fuel started flowing....
The float needle was stuck closed....just thought I would pass this on if your Holley gets cranky.
