Last year before I sent the face plate from my radio out to be replated, I took photos of both sides. Now that I am ready to assemble the radio, I can not find the photos.
I recall the backside of the faceplate being painted flat black. I figured this was to stop glare or a reflection from shining off the chromed inside of the faceplate around the edges. I did find one photo I had taken earlier which showed the black paint around the knob holes and in the slot the wonder bar button fits in to.
Can anyone tell me how much of the back is painted?
I seem to remember it being painted in the recess the glass lens sits, but I can not remember if the opening for the push button selectors was painted.
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Dennis
