    I bought my first 54 for less then this back in the 60's

    These will actually also work for 1969-82. However, they are not exactly configurationally correct for those years.

    Actually, though, these are only correct for 1953-57 Corvettes, although they can be used for 58-62 and 69-82.

      When NCRS makes use remove our hub caps then I may think about it many earely chevys are the same

        Yes, I did not mean to imply that these caps were used only for Corvettes, only that as far as Corvettes go they are correct for only 53-57. They were used on most other Chevrolet vehicles through 1957, too.

              Roy,
              Your post brings back memories I had forgotten about. While you may have a couple of years on me (no offense intended), I too paid less than the opening bid for my first vehicle. It was a 51 Chevrolet pickup truck that I purchased off some shyster car lot for $49, when I was 13. I only bought that because my father was emphatic I was not going to buy the rusty 1968-big block, 4 speed, convertible Chevelle off the same lot for $350. I REALLY wanted that Chevelle!!
              The ever evolving quest for the perfect original, unoriginal car will most likely continue to escalate prices for NOS parts. Especially the ones where they can say "Corvette" in their ad.
